When you create a Blink, it's important to know how it will appear to others:
Unfurled Blinks: In platforms and wallets that support unfurling, Blinks expand to display a rich, interactive interface directly within the platform. This provides users with a preview and immediate access to the Blink's functionality.
Example: When shared on X and your Solana wallet has unfurled the blink
Standard Links: If the platform doesn't support unfurling, the Blink will appear as a regular hyperlink.
Note: Users can still click on the link to access the Blink's functionality. The Wink platform ensures that Blinks are unfurled when accessed, providing the intended user experience. Here's what it looks like if you click a blink and directed to a winkit.app website. You can connect your wallet and perform any action through any blink on Wink website.
Most Solana wallets are equipped to unfurl Blinks automatically. You just need to enable the functionality. Check this video to enable Blinks on your favorite Solana wallet or read this post
Keep in mind that blinks are for now unfurled via extensions like Solana wallets. So unfurling can only happen on a Desktop with a Chrome extension installed (like Solana wallet or Dialect official extension). Blink unfurling is an easy operation, The Dialect team released full documentation about how you can implement Blinks to Web or Mobile App. Unfurling needs an adoption by the product developers where you want to see your blink unfurled. Soon mobile unfurling expected to be supported by many favorite mobile apps.
